Our Facilities

At Rochester Child Care Center, we care for 135 children on-site at our Charles Street location, in our nine classroom spaces. Our environments are child-centric, developmentally engaging, aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sensitive, health-promoting and functional. We understand that the children in our care spend large portions of their days within these environments and as such, they were designed to truly be a home away from home.

Each of our nine classroom spaces was designed through a natural lens with play, safety, and child development in mind. Through local city block grants, as well as childcare grants, our agency has been able to design a state-of-the-art commercialized kitchen, beautifully functional classrooms, and up-to-date playgrounds that were created with the Earth in mind.

Currently, we are working with CDFA and Strafford County to upgrade our ventilation as well as upgrades to our energy efficiency, which will help improve the buildings air quality as well as help to keep rates affordable. Look for a completed projection date of December 2024.
